Commonly used to adapt DIN (Deutsche Industrie Norme) connections to male SAE 37° JIC flares. Seals using a 3-piece flareless bite type, 60° cone, or 37° flare. Offers fair vibration resistance. Made from Carbon Steel - SAE 12L14. Components are plated with Zinc and yellow dichromate, nuts have a phosphate coating. Benefits include converting metric hose assemblies to 37° SAE for standard hose use, and facilitating metric tubing repairs.
